This survey looks at what effect running can have on the process of moving away from crime. Based on qualitative interviews with twelve people with criminal backgrounds, we show that a training plan can bring the necessary structure and predictability to life. In addition, regular running training helps participants cope with addictions and with the risk of returning to former drug habits.
