Do you think all people who commit a crime are dangerous?
A slight majority (53%) of the population does not think that all people who commit a crime are dangerous (13% definitely not, 40% rather not). This view is more often held by people under the age of 34, also aged 55—64 and people with basic education. The opinion that all people who commit a crime are dangerous is held by 46% of the population. More often people over 65.

Moderate majority (52%) of the population do not think that all people who commit a crime should be in prison (10% definitely not, 42% rather not). This view is more often held by people with higher education, residents of large cities and residents of Prague. The view that all people who commit a crime should be in prison is held by 47% of the population. More often people over 65 years old.

The majority of respondents share the same opinion on both questions. A total of 41% do not think that all people who commit a crime are dangerous, and at the same time do not think they should be put in prison. A total of 35% think that all people who commit a crime are dangerous, and at the same time think they should be put in jail.
