Publication for the 30th anniversary of the Prison Service

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the existence of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, we present a publication charting three decades of our history and its deeper roots. It represents not only the development and present of the penitentiary, but also significant historical objects of correctional facilities. Throughout its existence, the Prison Service fulfills a dual mission - to protect society from offenders and at the same time prepare them for a dignified return to ordinary life.
